2022 National Drug Strategy Household Survey Prize Terms and Conditions

HOW TO ENTER

In order to participate in this promotion, respondents are required to complete and return a survey about tobacco, alcohol and other drug use, attitudes and beliefs (“The survey”).

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged 14 and over who have completed The survey. (“Eligible Respondents”) Employees and their immediate families of Roy Morgan cannot participate in The survey and are ineligible to win prizes.
3. An Eligible Respondent will receive one (1) entry for completing The survey.  Eligible Respondents receive one (1) entry into the relevant Prize Draw.
4. The method for entering the promotion is by:

   a) Email or SMS invitation. The respondent will be provided with a URL link to provide access to The survey.
   b) Paper based.  Respondents are invited by mail, telephone or a home visit to complete a paper based version of The survey.

5. Roy Morgan reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with The survey requirements or these Conditions of Entry, or who is not an Eligible Respondent.  Respondents who attempt to obtain more than one entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods, may be disqualified by Roy Morgan and have their entries removed from the Prize Draw.
6. All entries must be received by the stated closing date for the relevant Prize Draw of The survey.  No responsibility accepted by Roy Morgan for late or misdirected entries.
7. During the promotional period there will be twenty (20) x Prize Draws. Entries received during each period will go into that Prize Draw. There will be one (1) winner per Prize Draw.
8. Prize Draw: the first valid entry drawn in each Prize Draw will receive an e-Gift Card to the value of $500.

9. Promotion for the Prize Draws commence in the following order:

a) Prize Draw 1 promotion commences July 22, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST August 11, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on August 12, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

b) Prize Draw 2 promotion commences August 12, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST August 18, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on August 19, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

c) Prize Draw 3 promotion commences August 19, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST August 25, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on August 26, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

d) Prize Draw 4 promotion commences August 26, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST September 1, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on September 2, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

e) Prize Draw 5 promotion commences September 2, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST September 8, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on September 9, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

f) Prize Draw 6 promotion commences September 9, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST September 15, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on September 16, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

g) Prize Draw 7 promotion commences September 16, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST September 22, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on September 23, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

h) Prize Draw 8 promotion commences September 23, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST September 29, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on September 30, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

i) Prize Draw 9 promotion commences September 30, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST October 6, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on October 7, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

j) Prize Draw 10 promotion commences October 7, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST October 13, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on October 14, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

k) Prize Draw 11 promotion commences October 14, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST October 20, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on October 21, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

l) Prize Draw 12 promotion commences October 21, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST October 27, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on October 28, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

m) Prize Draw 13 promotion commences October 28, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST November 3, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on November 4, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

n) Prize Draw 14 promotion commences November 4, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST November 10, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on November 11, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

o) Prize Draw 15 promotion commences November 11, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST November 17, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on November 18, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

p) Prize Draw 16 promotion commences November 18, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST November 24, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on November 25, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

q) Prize Draw 17 promotion commences November 25, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST December 1, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on December 2, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

r) Prize Draw 18 promotion commences December 2, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST December 8, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on December 9, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

s) Prize Draw 19 promotion commences December 9, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST December 15, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on December 16, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

t) Prize Draw 20 promotion commences December 16, 2022.  Closes 12 midnight EST December 22, 2022.  Draw will be conducted on December 23, 2022 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

10. Total prize pool over the twenty (20) Prize Draws is $10,000.  The total prize pool of each of the twenty (20) Prize Draws is $500.
11. The e-Gift Card will be delivered to the winner by email or SMS. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the e-Gift Card is lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way.
12. If the winner of a Prize Draw is under 18 years of age, the prize will be given to the winner’s legal parent or guardian as trustee for the winner.
13. In the event of there being any unclaimed prizes an unclaimed Prize Draw will be conducted on March 3, 2023 at 12pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.
14. Winners will be notified by phone, mail or email and published on the Roy Morgan website: www.roymorgan.com/prizedraw within 5 business days after each Prize Draw.

15. 15. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promotor, the Promotor may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
    16. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct The survey.  If the information requested is not provided, the entry will be invalid and the entrant may not participate in The survey.  However, entrants’ personal information will NOT be disclosed to any party other than Roy Morgan for any future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes.  Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.  A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Roy Morgan at the address set out below.
